POSITION
Summary:
Serves on a team of technology staff to provide direct customer support and management of Chromebooks, Windows laptops and desktops, media carts, district computer labs, and other technology related systems.
Troubleshoots and repairs user workstations and installed software, printers, AV hardware and other peripheral equipment, as well as successful implementation of assigned projects relating to hardware/software deployment and upgrades.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
A combination of 2 years' experience supporting a Microsoft and/or Chrome environment.
Allowable substitutions for
Experience:
a 2-year degree can substitute for 1 year of experience or a 4-year tech degree can substitute for 2 years of experience.
Possess a valid Oregon Driver License and ability to transport technology equipment using a private or district-owned vehicle.
Experience working in an educational environment and educational technology preferred.
Knowledge of and experience with several of the following technologies and software applications, is preferred, including but not limited to:
Microsoft Windows and Office Software Suite and Office 365 Google Chrome devices Microsoft active directory, group policy, DNS, Print Services, DHCP Windows Remote Access Google for Education, Google Directory Sync, Google Password Sync Visio AutoCAD Software Video server and surveillance cameras Zoom and Microsoft Teams Ability to instruct staff and students in computer application usage.
Ability to work effectively either alone or with others on technology projects.
Ability to use effective oral and written communication skills.
Ability to listen and react professionally.
Ability to remain flexible to changing situations and assignments.
