This particular Phaeton is set up with a subtleCall it:
A hotrod flavor! With its lowered, raked stance, mildly warmed over Flathead V8, and other touches, make this '29, a One-of-a-kind, ultra cool ride, that's perfect to propel you, and 3 or 4 friends down the boulevard for an evening of crusing, or perhaps a car show.
This clean, thoughtful build is certainly a kick to drive, and, like most all of the Flatheads I've had, this '239' starts up quick, and runs like a fine-tuned Swiss watch.
The transmission, and clutch both work excellently, as does all other mechanical aspect of the Phaeton.
As mentioned above, this is an original All steel Phaeton, and that includes all fenders, running boards, and the hood.
There's also some excellent, however subtle work included on this convertible such as the engine openings have been smoothed, and a cool piece of lettering on the drives side panel from a Southern California shop.
The big '29' on the front of the radiator gives a nod to the dry lake racers from back in the day as well.
Classic vintage appearance from all angles, excellent running Flathead V8, and smooth complimenting drive-train, hotrod and performance touches throughout, and enough room to take your friends along.
