Roosevelt was the man we looked to, to lead America into prosperity after contending with such disasters as the dust bowl, food lines, and high unemployment rates.
Poised to join the European forces in World War II, Roosevelt kept America away from all of that for the next couple of years, but that's a topic for another day.
What you see here, is one of the original pieces of machinery from that decade that slowly, but surely pulled America up and out of despair so we could look to a brighter future.
Trucks have always been the go-to workhorse whether for construction, farming, or ranching.
Not to mention, the fun stuff such as hauling our sports equipment to the game, picking up the new 84 TV, gathering up all your friends in the truck bed and cruising around.
Yeah, I think it's safe to say, the pick up truck is as much apart of Americana, as anything else we're proud of.
This 1939 Ford is not only an exceptional example of what I mean, but keep in mind this particular style of truck is very distinctive in that the front oval grill was only available in 1938, and 1939.
This truck remains mostly factory, but with some nice upgrades to bring it to a very fine, very drivable truck that can be reliably enjoyed today.
Stable 12 Volt electrical system, electronic ignition, fresh and clean restored interior for comfort, just to name a few.
The paint is beautiful, deep gloss black and free of damage.
The undercarriage is clean as well, and the engine and drive train have been rebuilt, and all mechanical systems have been maintained.
All of the original gauges work, the truck drives nicely and the first year for hydraulic brakes work greatCome to think of it, this truck has, in fact been completely restored.
