And when I get one like this in here I just want to keep it! The ever popular '55-'59 Chevy truck series are certainly one of the best classic trucks one can ever hope to get ahold of.
Why, well, they have the cool, tough classic look we all love of course, but, equally important is, they have room in the cab for actual driving comfort.
Love the earlier body styles as well, but as truck manufacturing progressed to this series, use- ability, and driving comfort brought trucks to the forefront for daily use.
I may lean a little in favor of these truck as I have personally been driving a '56 for nearly 30 years, so I know from where I speak They're truly an excellent truck.
This particular truck was treated to a frame-off restoration, and a very quality build with the purpose in mind to drive and enjoy it.
All facets of the truck function and perform nicely, and the overall presentation of this truck will draw you in to the point that you will want to drive it everywhere.
The Deep Purple base/clear paint over the extremely clean and smooth body, and all of the beautiful trim and brightwork makes this truck difficult to turn away from.
But, that's just the beginning really.
Open the driver, or passenger door and gaze in the interior, and you'll find a clean, simple interior layout that's hard to improve on.
Pop the hood to reveal the clean, tight engine compartment with it's smoothed firewall, painted inner fenders, and sweet running 283 loaded with all of the accessories we all desire in our classic vehicles.
Power 4 wheel disc brakes, Jaguar front and rear suspension, column shifted overdrive automatic transmission, not to mention power steering and air conditioning, and you have an over-the-top functional, fun to drive classic truck that anyone would be proud to own.
This is a truck that will look good sitting in your garage/shop, sitting at a car show/cruise-in, and of course, driving down the road.
This truck was well built, fully functional, easy and fun to drive, and you'll get so many thumbs up on the road you won't be able have both hands on the steering wheel from waving backBeautiful truck! Remember, I know from where I speak!.
